RENTAL AGREEMENT
LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Renter agrees to maintain commercial general liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 at their own expense for the duration of the rental.
Renter agrees not to hold Amerson Creative LLC liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged property. Renter assumes all risk and responsibility for any injury, death, or property damage resulting from their actions or the actions of any person brought onto the property by the renter.
Renter assumes full responsibility for all persons, equipment, props, and personal items brought into the property and releases, indemnifies, and holds harmless Amerson Creative LLC, its owners, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, actions, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to the rental, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract, or otherwise.
FEES & PAYMENTS
The full rental amount is due on or before the rental date. At the time of booking, renter agrees to complete the online rental contract and to read and agree to all terms, conditions, and requirements in full.
Standard rental terms are as follows:
Full day rental: 8 hours
Half day rental: 4 hours
Hourly rental:
$100 per hour on weekdays
$150 per hour on weekends
A $35 cleaning fee applies to all rentals.
Additional fees, if requested or used:
Seamless paper: $25 per roll
Stands: $15 each
Small rolls: $10 each
Sandbags: $5 each
Any rental exceeding the pre-arranged time will incur an additional charge of $100 per hour unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
CANCELLATION POLICY & DISCLAIMERS
Please notify SONDER at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled rental if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations made with 72 hours or more notice are eligible for a one-time reschedule, which must be used within 30 days of the original booking date and is subject to availability.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48–72 hours of the scheduled rental time will result in 50 percent of the rental fee being retained.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled rental time will result in 100 percent of the rental fee being retained.
Each booking is eligible for one reschedule only. Once a booking has been rescheduled, any additional changes or cancellations will be treated as a cancellation under this policy.
This policy applies regardless of whether the change is initiated by the renter, photographer, client, or any third party. Fees apply once a booking is confirmed, regardless of whether payment has been processed.
SONDER cannot control outside or environmental noise and makes no guarantee of a noiseless environment.
By booking the studio, the renter agrees to this cancellation and rescheduling policy.
CONDUCT
All renters and their guests must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner while on the premises. Renters must remain within the SONDER studio space and may not enter any other offices or areas of Marathon Village without explicit permission.
Inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.
Smoking is not permitted inside the building. Outside smoking is limited to the designated smoking area on the right side of the building. Failure to comply may result in additional location fees.
Candles, glitter, confetti, or similar materials are strictly prohibited.
Street parking is available, as well as a paid parking lot across the street.
The upstairs area of SONDER is not included in the rental and may not be used. The studio may not be used for storage of any personal or commercial items.
Any rearrangement or removal of items within the studio must be approved in advance. Renter must leave the studio clean and returned to its original condition. Failure to do so will result in an additional $150 cleaning fee.
PROPS, FURNITURE, WALLS & FLOORS
All furniture in SONDER may be used with care. Furniture must be lifted, not dragged. The brown couch must not be pushed against the wall, as this may cause damage. All couches are on wheels.
Food and beverages must be kept away from the white couch. Shoes are not permitted on the white couch. Any signs of feet or shoes on the couch will result in a $150 cleaning fee.
When using tripods or larger equipment, renters must use floor protectors or tennis balls to prevent damage. Metal equipment must not come into direct contact with floors.
CLEANING POLICY & CHECKLIST
All countertops and tables must be cleared of bottles, cups, and trash and wiped clean of dust, debris, and spills.
All floors in used areas must be cleaned. Any spills or messes must be addressed immediately in the studio, hallways, bathrooms, dressing areas, and makeup areas.
All furniture must be returned to its assigned location.
All trash, including food and beverage waste, must be removed from the premises at the end of the rental.
